Close up photos of our
Grey Mouflon Ewe Lamb
HMRR 058J

The mouflon pattern is shown here. The creamy white fleece covers the chin, underbelly and up to the tail. It is also referred to as a reverse-badgerface. Notice the light eyebrows and frosted lips also.

Photo taken 6/4/99 at 3 months old

This horned grey mouflon is the largest ewe lamb out of our entire lamb crop this year.   She carries the moorit gene also.

We plan to breed her to "Champ", our horned moorit herd sire.   We can't wait to see what the winning combination will produce this coming Spring!!!

Fleece is parted to show white undercoat (Thel) under the black outercoat (Tog) which shows the grey pattern along with the mouflon pattern.

This is a rear shot of the grey mouflon. Notice the creamy white fleece under the tail area which is the mouflon pattern. It continues down  under the belly and up to the chin.
