"Raw to Refined"
A study about wool and it's different uses

Instructor:  Lisa Zietz, Banks, OR
Assistant:  Lisa Roskopf, Gaston, OR

The 8th Grade Arts and Crafts Class at Mt. View Middle School, Beaverton School District have put together what they learned during their "Raw to Refined" Arts and Crafts Class.  In just a few short weeks, they learned where wool comes from, saw a demonstration on shearing sheep, washed and dyed wool, spun wool, and felted with wool.

All Information and drawings found in the following web pages are by the students of the 2003 Winter term.

Thank you to all the 8th graders for making this a fun and interesting adventure for us.

Sincerely, Lisa Z. and Lisa R.
