Wool: "Tan on neck, feets and little bit in fleece. Wool rather fine and medium quantity. No black fibers were found."

Results: Lækur was progeny tested at Lækjarhús Farm in 1998 with following result: Eye muscle thickness 24,6 mm (H), back fat 2,6 mm, legs 16,9 points, wool 7,5 points, meat grading 10,55 points (which is tremendous), fat grading 6,25 points, weight 38,6 kg and dressing weight 16,02 kg.

Stubbur´s progenies are exceptionally muscular and lean but seem to lack maturity. Legs and loins are muscled but back muscling sometimes not good enough. It can be pointed out that Stubbur´s father, Mjöður 93-813, has got one of Iceland´s top breeding index for meat classification.

Bassi has not proven himself as a father yet. A great number of male offsprings of Bassi were evaluated in 1999 and it´s qiute clear that Bassi passes his qualities on along with great weight.

Wool EE: "White with no tan or black fibers - small black spots on ears. Rather short woolled, fine and curled thog. Quantity hardly medium and rather little thel in back. Soft and lustrous wool."

Eir was progeny tested again in 1998: Eye muscle thickness 23,5 mm (S), back fat 3,6 mm, legs 16,3 points, meat grading 7,70 points, fat grading 6,20 points and dressing weight 16,92 kg.
Only 11 progenies of Eir were slaughtered in 1998, EROP classification gave 7,73 for meat qualities and 6,09 for leanness.

1999 spring records reflect a more positive image of Búri as father were 32 hoggets lambed this spring resulting +10 for prolificacy. Their milking abilities are promising. Búri carries genes for both black and grey.
